Welcome Big Bash
The Welcome Big Bash was an enormous success. The Brass Baton Big Band which has membership from ex-Belrose students, dazzled everyone with their toe-tapping music. Children and parents loved the swing dance lessons and everyone had lots of fun dancing into the night.

Digital animation engages students
Year 4 students participated in a digital animation workshop. Before the workshop students had to prepare a story line and a background. Dynamic Debating
Two Belrose Public School debating teams were successful in their recent debates. The topic was "Homework should be banned". One team argued for the affirmative and one team for the negative. Book Week Parade
To celebrate Book Week, children came dressed as their favourite book character. The playground was a sea of colour as excited children paraded and put smiles on the faces of parents and grandparents. What a wonderful event to acknowledge the love of reading that exists at Belrose Public School.

Open Day & Grandparents Day
Open Day and Grandparents day was a celebration of excellence in education at Belrose Public School. The air was filled with excitement as parents and grandparents visited classrooms. The concert was a showcase of our talented students with performances by our brilliant bands, choirs and dance groups.

Gala Concert
The choirs, dance groups and bands were on fire! Our talented teachers encouraged students to reach for the stars and the level of performance was outstanding. The Brass Baton Big Bands, which consist of ex-Belrose students, raised the roof with their performances. We are extremely proud of our performing arts programs.

Robotics
Students in Years 5 and 6 participate in a robotics program where they learn how to program a robot to respond to sound commands, in this case it was clapping. This interactive program engages the students and develops a deep understanding of the process. The joy on the students' faces is priceless.
